Constructed from concrete, this spacious new bridge spans 15 meters in length and 3 meters in width, supported by 15 pillars. As the first bridge built in Nhon Hoa Hamlet, it significantly facilitates local travel and transport needs, ensuring safe passage for residents and convenient commutes for school children, thereby contributing to the overall economic development.
The Mekong Delta region is characterized by an intricate system of rivers and canals. Building more bridges for the local people is crucial and urgent. Therefore, Vietceramics sponsored the construction of a bridge to facilitate transportation and the delivery of agricultural goods, creating favorable conditions for people to feel secure in their production and daily lives. Mr. Chi Danh, Vice Chairman of the My Nhon Commune People's Committee, shared: "This bridge serves the residents of this area to access their fields and transport goods, and it also makes it easier for children to get to school, so the construction of this bridge was necessary. On behalf of the households in Nhon Hoa Hamlet, I would like to thank Vietceramics for accompanying us on this project."
At the inauguration ceremony for the inter-hamlet bridge (numbers 8, 9, 10) in Nhon Hoa Hamlet, My Nhon Commune, Ba Tri District, Ben Tre Province, Ms. Tran Thi Luan, Head of Human Resources, shared: "The Vietceramics family and I hope that even with this small contribution to the local community, this bridge will help ensure the safety of the local people as they travel and work. In particular, we hope that the 10 bicycles we donated will help the children get to school more easily and encourage them to study hard so they can contribute to building their homeland in the future."
With the desire to make life better for people in the Mekong Delta, Vietceramics will always stand by the local people in the future, participating in meaningful humanitarian volunteer activities and spreading love throughout our beautiful S-shaped country.
Previously, on August 5, Vietceramics and the leadership of My Nhon Commune held a groundbreaking ceremony for the "Bridge of Love" charity project. Before this, residents could only cross the river on dangerous bamboo "monkey bridges" and were forced to use boats to transport goods, which was very inconvenient.
