Following a field assessment of reconstruction needs post-disaster, the Vietceramics team personally visited and presented donations to three schools in Phu Yen province where facilities had been significantly degraded by the storm and subsequent flooding.
Hoa Hoi Primary & Secondary School (Hoa Hoi Commune, Phu Hoa District): Vietceramics donated three water filtration systems along with essential stationery sets for the students.
Xuan Quang 1 Primary School (Ky Lo Village, Phu Mo Commune): The team hand-delivered new backpacks, notebooks, and pens to motivate students as they returned to their studies.
Nguyen Trai Primary School (Phu Tho 1 Quarter, Hoa Hiep Trung Ward, Dong Hoa Town): Three water filtration systems were installed to provide clean, purified drinking water on-site, ensuring students have access to safe hydration without needing to bring water from home daily.
Beyond educational support, Vietceramics visited and provided encouragement to the families of staff members residing in the affected areas, reinforcing the spirit of internal solidarity and mutual care that defines the company’s culture.
Financial Transparency of the Program: The program was made possible through the collective contributions of Vietceramics’ Board of Directors and staff, raising a total fund of 151,795,700 VND.
More than just a donation of goods, representatives from Vietceramics spent time checking in on the well-being of teachers, students, and staff members. Through these sincere gestures, Vietceramics hopes to provide the spiritual strength and confidence needed for the local community to overcome adversity and stabilize their lives.
